Some of our tips on keeping your pond clean:

Four season care:

  • Winter. Remove leaves and any other debris from the water. Remove dead leaves from water plants. Reduce feeding of the fish.
  • Spring. Remove any debris from the bottom of the pond. Filtration clean. Fertilising existing water plants and add new plants if required.
  • Summer. Keep algae under control. Clean filter regularly. Feed fish regularly. Top-up water levels regularly during hot, dry periods.
  • Autumn. Prune back overgrown plants.
